Dr. House: I like you better now that you're dying.
Thirteen: I was wrong.
Dr. House: You took a shot.
Thirteen: She's going back to work fot that idiot. It's pathetic.
Sr. House: You thought something would change?
Thisteen: She almost died. Because of that job. Yeah... I I I thought...
Dr. House: Almost dying changes nothing. Dying changes everything.

Ele sempre acerta.

Celine: I was fine. Until I read your fucking book! It stirred shit up, you know. It reminded me how... genuinely romantic I was, how I had so much hope in things and... now it's like... I don't believe in anything that relates to love, I don't feel things for people anymore. In a way... I put all my romanticism into that one night and I was never able to feel all this again. Like... somehow this night took things away from me and... I expressed them to you and you took them with you! It made me feel cold, like if love wasn't for me!

Jesse: I... I don't believe that. I don't believe that.

Celine: You know what? Reality and love are almost contradictory for me. It's funny... Every single of my ex-es... they're now married! Man go out with me, we break up, and then they get married! And later they call me to thank me for teaching them what love is, and... that I taught them to care and respect women!

Jesse: I think I'm one of those guys.

Celine: You know, I want to kill them! Why didn't they ask me to marry them? I would have said "No", but at least they could have asked!!! But it's my fault, I know that it's my fault, because... I never felt it was the right man. Never! But what does it mean the right man? The love of your life? The concept is absurd, the idea that we can only be complete with another person is... EVIL! Right?

Jesse: Can I talk?

Celine: You know, I guess I've been heart broken too many times. And then I recovered. So now, you know, from the starts, I make no effort.

I'm back in Liverpool,
And everything seems the same,
But I worked something out last night,
That changed this little boys brain,
A small piece of advice,
That took twenty-two years in the make,
And I will break it for you now,
Please learn from my mistakes,
Please learn from my mistakes.

Let's dance to joy division,
And celebrate the irony,
Everything is going wrong,
But we're so happy,
Let's dance to joy division,
And raise our glass to the ceiling,
'Cos this could all go so wrong,
But we're just so happy,
Yeah we're so happy.

So if your ever feeling down,
Grab your purse and take a taxi,
To the darker side of town,
That's where we'll be,
And we will wait for you and lead you through the dancefloor,
Up to the D.J booth,
You know what to ask for,
You know what to ask for.

Go ask for Joy Division,
And celebrate the irony,
Everything is going wrong,
But we're so happy,
Let's dance to joy division,
And raise our glass to the ceiling,
'Cos this could all go so wrong,
But we're just so happy,
So happy.

So let the love tear us apart,
I've found the cure for a broken heart,
Let it tear us apart,
let the love tear us apart,
I've found the cure for a broken heart,
Let it tear us apart,
(Let it tear us apart)
So let the love tear us apart,
I've found the cure for a broken heart,
Let it tear us apart,
(Let it tear us apart)
So let the love tear us apart,
I've found the cure for a broken heart,
Let it tear us apart,
Let it tear us apart,
Let it tear us apart.

Let's dance to joy division,
And celebrate the irony,
Everything is going wrong,
But were so happy,
Let's dance to joy division,
And raise our glass to the ceiling,
'Cos this could all go so wrong,
But we're just so happy,
Yeah we're so happy,
So happy,
Yeah we're so happy,
So happy,
Yeah we're so happy.

In weiter Ferne, so nah!

Emit Flesti: Have you heard the prophecy? "In the Year of Hate, when all that is foreign is despised, dark riders will enter the harbor, seize the ship and everyone on it and sail them straight into hell"
Cassiel: I know all prophecy, but not this one. You made it up.
Emit Flesti: What's the difference? It just happened.

Daily bits of House

Dr. Gregory House: I think they gotta up that morphine.
Stacy Warner: The doctors say they can't.
Dr. Gregory House: The doctors recommended bed rest and antibiotics.
Stacy Warner: They screwed up, it doesn't mean they're wrong this time.
Dr. Gregory House: Sure doesn't mean they're right.
Stacy Warner: Morphine will kill you.
Dr. Gregory House: I can handle it.
Stacy Warner: You're in pain, you're not thinking right.
Dr. Gregory House: That's why I need the damn morphine!

******************************

Dr. Gregory House: This is our fault. Doctors over-prescribing antibiotics.Got a cold? Take some penicillin. Sniffles? No problem. Have some azithromycin. Is that not working anymore? Oh, got your Levaquin. Antibacterial soaps in every bathroom. We'll be adding vancomycin to the water supply soon. We bred these superbugs. They're our babies. And they're all grown up and they've got body piercings and a lot of anger.

******************************

Dr. Gregory House: I assume 'minimal at best' is your stiff upper lip British way of saying "no chance in hell."
Dr. Chase: Actually, I'm Australian.
Dr. Gregory House: You put the Queen on your money, you're British.

******************************

Dr. Gregory House: Haven't done the MUGA.
Dr. Wilson: Then how do you know she needs a heart transplant?
Dr. Gregory House: I got my aura read today. It said someone close to me had a broken heart.

¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬

Celine: I believe if there's any kind of God it wouldn't be in any of us, not you or me but just this little space in between. If there's any kind of magic in this world it must be in the attempt of understanding someone sharing something. I know, it's almost impossible to succeed but who cares really? The answer must be in the attempt.

Cameron: "So I’m thinking we should have sex."
Chase: "That makes sense."
Cameron: "Despite the wisdom of pop songs there’s no point in putting our lives on hold until love comes along. We’re both healthy and busy people, and we work together so it's convenient."
Chase: "Like microwave pizza?"
Cameron: "And of all the people I work with you’re the one I’m least likely to fall in love with."
Chase: "Like microwave pizza."
Cameron: "The point here is to make things simpler, not more complicated. Some day there’ll be a time to get serious about someone. Meanwhile, we’ve already had sex once and didn’t get weird about it, so…"
Chase: "I get it, I get it. So, what if I’m offended by your judgment?"
Cameron: "Then you’re not the man I’m looking for."

Dr. Gregory House: You bastard. You invited my parents to dinner.
Dr. Wilson: Geez, Cameron's got a big mouth.
Dr. Gregory House: Ha! Not as big as yours.
Dr. Wilson: Hey, you used me to avoid seeing your parents.
Dr. Gregory House: Well, what do you care?
Dr. Wilson: I don't. I just thought it might be interesting to find out why.
Dr. Gregory House: You could have just asked.
Dr. Wilson: You would have lied.
Dr. Gregory House: And you would have believed me. Which would have kept us both happy. Do you want your money back, is that what this is about?
Dr. Wilson: No! Wait, what? Have you got the money?
[House starts to write check]
Dr. Wilson: If you have the money, then why did you need the loan?
Dr. Gregory House: I didn't. I just wanted to see if you'd give it to me. I've been borrowing increasing amounts ever since you lent me forty dollars a year ago. A little experiment to see where you'd draw the line.
Dr. Wilson: You're - you're trying to objectively measure how much I value our friendship?
Dr. Gregory House: That's five grand, you've got nothing to be ashamed of. So what do you say, one little phone call, one big check?
Dr. Wilson: Fine.
[takes check]
Dr. Wilson: Thanks.
[gets in car]
Dr. Wilson: Now, be a grownup and either tell mommy and daddy you don't want to see them or I'm picking you up at 7:00 for dinner.
Dr. Gregory House: What do you mean? You just said...
Dr. Wilson: I lied. I've been lying to you in increasing amounts ever since I told you you look good unshaved a year ago. It's a little experiment, you know, to see where you'd draw the line.

"That's how it always ends. A bit of magic, a bit of smoke. Something floating . But it doesn't work without the necessary push. A bit of laughter, a man... a beautiful woman and love. Let's start over. At the beginning, it was a man alone. No, he's not alone. Yet.
(...)
The woman left. The laughter stopped. But, the man is still here. Not like that... All alone.
It is a film. Everything is constructed. Still it hurts. "

No matter what the time is
Sleeping is giving in
So lift those heavy eyelids"

Felizmente estou bem agora.

Eduardo Galeano – “Janela sobre a Memória” in As Palavras Andantes

V for Vendetta

Remember, remember, the fifth of November,
The gunpowder treason and plot.
I know of no reason why gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot.
Guy Fawkes, Guy Fawkes,
'Twas his intent
To blow up the King and the Parliament.
Poor old England to overthrow.
By God's providence he was catch’d
With a dark lantern and burning match.
Holloa boys, holloa boys, let the bells ring.
Holloa boys, holloa boys, God save the King!
Hip hip hoorah!
Hip hip hoorah!

A penny loaf to feed ol' Pope,
A farthing cheese to choke him.
A pint of beer to rinse it down,
A faggot of sticks to burn him.
Burn him in a tub of tar,
Burn him like a blazing star.
Burn his body from his head,
Then we'll say ol' Pope is dead.
Hip hip hoorah!
Hip hip hoorah!

Just great!

Ps.

Edit: Consegui!!!

"She paints her face to hide her face. Her eyes are deep water. It is not for Geisha to want. It is not for geisha to feel. Geisha is an artist of the floating world. She dances, she sings. She entertains you, whatever you want. The rest is shadows, the rest is secret. "

Desabafo

Passar o feriado aqui em São Paulo sozinha no flat me fez desabar. E eu aqui sozinha...

You see you'd love to run home
But you know you ain't got one
'Cause you're livin' in a world that you're best forgotten
And when you're thinkin' of a joke
And nobody's gonna listen
To the one small point
I know they been missin' round here

"Caminhozinho por onde eu ia andando
E de repente te sumiste,
- o que seria que te aconteceu?
Eu sei ... o tempo... as ervas más... a vida...
